I will share information about my experience during a visit to Prambanan temple. Previously I will tell a brief history about Prambanan temple. Prambanan Temple or Roro Jonggrang Temple is the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia built in the 9th century AD. This temple is dedicated to Trimurti, the three major Hindu gods of Brahma as the creator god, Vishnu as the nurturing deity, and Shiva as the god of destruction. Based on the inscription of Siwagrha the original name of this temple complex is Siwagrha (Sanskrit meaning 'House of Shiva'), and indeed in garbagriha (main room) this temple is located at the statue of Shiva Mahadewa as high as three meters indicating that in this temple Shiva god is preferred. Well, that's a brief history of the Prambanan temple.

Next I will tell you my experience during a visit to Prambanan temple. The temple complex is located in Prambanan, Sleman and Prambanan sub-districts of Klaten, approximately 17 kilometers north-east of Yogyakarta, 50 kilometers southwest of Surakarta and 120 kilometers south of Semarang, just on the border between Central Java province and Yogyakarta Special Region. The location is very unique, Prambanan Temple is located in the administrative area of ​​Bokoharjo village, Prambanan, Sleman, while the entrance of the Prambanan Temple complex is located in the administrative area of ​​Tlogo village, Prambanan, Klaten. In the long holiday last year, I visited the Prambanan temple. I went with friends, and other friends. Entrance fee to Prambanan temple is Rp. 40,000. There are many visitors coming from abroad, mostly Indians. Incidentally during a visit to Prambanan temple, coinciding with the month of Ramadan. I had to endure a very unbelievable thirst. And Alhamdulillah I managed to resist the thirst. Hehehe 😅

Many statues contained in the temple of Prambanan, the statue of Shiva Mahadewa, Brahma statue, Ganesh statue and many others. Prambanan temple is very beautiful scenery. People who visit do not forget to take pictures for the keepsake. Such was my experience while visiting the Prambanan temple. Saya akan berbagi informasi tentang pengalaman saya pada saat berkunjung ke candi Prambanan. Sebelumnya saya akan menceritakan sejarah singkat tentang candi Prambanan. Candi Prambanan atau Candi Roro Jonggrang adalah kompleks candi Hindu terbesar di Indonesia yang dibangun pada abad ke-9 masehi. Candi ini dipersembahkan untuk Trimurti, tiga dewa utama Hindu yaitu Brahma sebagai dewa pencipta, Wishnu sebagai dewa pemelihara, dan Siwa sebagai dewa pemusnah. Berdasarkan prasasti Siwagrha nama asli kompleks candi ini adalah Siwagrha ( bahasa Sanskerta yang bermakna 'Rumah Siwa' ), dan memang di garbagriha (ruang utama) candi ini bersemayam arca Siwa Mahadewa setinggi tiga meter yang menujukkan bahwa di candi ini dewa Siwa lebih diutamakan. Nah, itulah sejarah singkat tentang candi Prambanan.

Selanjutnya saya akan menceritakan pengalaman saya pada saat berkunjung ke candi Prambanan. Kompleks candi ini terletak di kecamatan Prambanan, Sleman dan kecamatan Prambanan, Klaten, kurang lebih 17 kilometer timur laut Yogyakarta, 50 kilometer barat daya Surakarta dan 120 kilometer selatan Semarang, persis di perbatasan antara provinsi Jawa Tengah dan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Letaknya sangat unik, Candi Prambanan terletak di wilayah administrasi desa Bokoharjo, Prambanan, Sleman, sedangkan pintu masuk kompleks Candi Prambanan terletak di wilayah adminstrasi desa Tlogo, Prambanan, Klaten. Pada liburan panjang tahun lalu, saya berkunjung ke candi Prambanan. Aku pergi bersama sahabat, dan teman-teman lainnya. Tiket masuk ke candi Prambanan adalah sebesar Rp. 40.000. Disana banyak pengunjung yang berasal dari luar negeri, kebanyakan adalah orang India. Kebetulan saat berkunjung ke candi Prambanan, bertepatan dengan bulan Ramadhan.  Saya harus menahan dahaga yang sangat luar biasa. Dan Alhamdulillah saya berhasil menahan rasa dahaga tersebut. Hehehe 😅

Banyak arca yang terdapat di candi Prambanan, yaitu arca Siwa Mahadewa, arca Brahma, arca Ganesha dan masih banyak yang lainnya. Candi Prambanan pemandangan nya sangat indah. Orang-orang yang berkunjung tidak lupa untuk berfoto untuk kenang-kenangan. Demikianlah pengalaman saya saat berkunjung ke candi Prambanan.
